As a student in Gothenburg Västtrafik's ticket prices are hard to ignore. A single ticker is valid for 90 minutes and monthly passes across multiple zones are a recurring expense. Every time the prices increase, it becomes a topic of discussion. Despite the complaints, most people keep riding – there are simply few alternatives to public transport. This project explores a simple question: what if Västtrafik were completely honest in their advertising?

Graduation project at Yrgo, created in collaboration with Frida Thornblad and graphic designer Julia Sjöberg.
Bikt and Pastor are two restaurants in Gothenburg with strong and distinct identities.
However, their existing websites felt static and didn’t reflect the atmosphere and personality experienced in the restaurants or on their social media.
The websites were functional but lacked character and clarity.
Key information like menus and booking were hard to access, especially on mobile, and the overall experience felt disconnected from the brand.
We designed two new landing pages that better reflect each restaurant’s identity while improving usability.
Clear structure and navigation
Stronger visual expression
Mobile-friendly layouts
Menu solutions adapted to each restaurant
We created two distinct digital experiences tailored to each restaurant. Bikt uses a minimal black-and-white palette to reduce visual noise and give full emphasis to the typography and Julia Sjöberg’s hand-drawn illustrations while Pastor was designed with a warmer and more playful aesthetic inspired by the restaurant’s handmade pasta and the tiled interior of their space in the Saluhall, creating a strong connection to the physical environment.

What if period tracking felt confident instead of cute?
Mensa is a period tracking app designed for quick access and zero fluff. Instead of soft visuals and overly careful language, the app focuses on clarity, speed, and a more direct tone, treating menstruation as something normal rather than something that needs to be softened.
Mensa was designed around one simple idea: no unnecessary interaction.
Most period apps require multiple taps just to access basic information. Mensa removes that friction by making key data like cycle, ovulation, and flow instantly visible when opening the app. Updates are just as simple, often requiring no more than a scroll or a single tap.
The aim was to create an app that feels fast and effortless to use — something you open, understand immediately, update if needed, and close again.
Reflecting the same idea, Mensa uses a stripped-back and confident aesthetic instead of soft colors and decorative elements. Unnecessary visual noise is removed, allowing hierarchy and readability to guide the interface and make information easy to scan at a glance.
By combining minimal interaction with a clear and bold design, Mensa offers a more direct approach to period tracking. It prioritizes usability over decoration and gives users quick access to the information they actually need.
